Many of our customers both large and small have used our API to create their own custom applications to send email. Maybe they are applications that automatically scour their data for people who meet certain criteria and deliver segmented messages. Or maybe they are "triggered" applications that send receipts or acknowledgments to recipients after an event occurs. It doesn't matter to us; our API allows our customers to invent their own reasons and schedules and send email through our World-Class delivery engine and track the results.
